My stay at Domus Castrense was quite a mixed bag. While the location was a big plus, being close to the city center and Termini station, the overall experience left much to be desired. The room was clean and modern, but I faced several issues like construction noise and a lack of some basic amenities. Overall, it was a decent place to stay, but it fell short in several areas.

Rooms
7.0
The room I had was modern and clean with a comfortable bed, but I noticed some sizes felt cramped for the number of guests. Also, the noise from construction was noticeable.
Service
7.0
The staff members were helpful and spoke English well. However, I faced some frustrating moments, like waiting too long for certain services to be addressed.
Location

Being close to Termini station was fantastic, as well as access to the city center and nearby restaurants. I enjoyed the quiet area, too.
Dining

Breakfast was pretty disappointing. I hoped for a bit more variety and flavor. It felt quite bland compared to what I expected.
Facilities
5.0
The facilities had potential, but I encountered some issues like the elevator getting stuck. After a long day of sightseeing, having to walk multiple flights of stairs was quite exhausting.

My stay at Domus Castrense was enjoyable, thanks to the amazing staff and the very clean rooms. The location is super convenient, being close to public transport and the city center. However, breakfast could get a bit repetitive if you're there for longer, and I did hear some noise from other guests at times.

I had a pretty disappointing stay at Domus Castrense. The location is convenient, close to the metro and within walking distance to many attractions, which I appreciated. However, the service was lacking, and the room's comfort didn't meet expectations, leading to an overall frustrating experience.

Rooms
6.0
My Double or Twin Room was clean and had a comfy bed, but it was too noisy with cleaning starting early. The absence of basic amenities like a kettle was also disappointing.
Service
5.0
The reception's response to my issues was frustrating. Even though they offered to check the AC that wasn't working, the overall management style felt unprofessional.
Location
8.0
On the bright side, the hotel is well located near a metro station and the main train station, making it easy to get around Rome.
Dining
7.0
Breakfast included warm pastries and good coffee, but I expected more variety. It was decent, yet nothing to write home about.
Facilities
5.0
The facilities could use an upgrade, especially considering the loud construction noise and the outdated elevator, which was quite inconvenient.

My stay at Domus Castrense was generally enjoyable, thanks to its excellent location and friendly staff. However, I did notice a few shortcomings, such as the limited breakfast options and occasional noise from neighboring rooms. Overall, it’s a place I would consider returning to.

The location is a dream for travelers! Just a short walk from the Termini station and within 25 minutes from major attractions. I loved being able to explore the city on foot.
Dining
8.0
Breakfast was traditional with sweet pastries, but I found it a bit lacking in heartier options like eggs. It could use some variety for those preferring a savory start.
Facilities

Amenities like daily housekeeping and a safe in the room were very useful, though I wished for more variety in breakfast offerings. The overall cleanliness was admirable.

I had a decent stay at Domus Castrense. The location was fantastic for exploring Rome, very close to Termini station and La Sapienza University. However, I found the WiFi speed quite poor, and the breakfast options were too basic for my taste. Overall, it’s a budget-friendly option, though improvements could be made in some areas. 😊

The position of the hotel is great, just a short walk from Roma Termini and several metro stations. This made it very easy for me to navigate the city and get around.
Dining
